This one was a must see for me as the first film was hilarious, however I came out of the cinema really dissapointed after seeing the film. The first film which was one of the  highest earning romantic comedies of all time was fantastic, however the second was nothing but a dull repeat of the original with many of the same themes and gags, only involving the parents this time.
The film has been a total miss with the critics, scoring 3.7/10 on Metacritic and 4.6/10 on Rottentomatoes, but the audience reaction has been much different with mostly positive ratings and reviews across all networked movie platforms. There are still many who agree with the critics, but overall it's mostly positive. Positive reviews commented on the films quirky humor and energy, while negatives noted that the film was a huge disappointment after waiting so long for the sequel. One continuous problem which I even noticed myself is that the length of the main characters hair kept changing throughout the film. What a stuff up!
